I graduated from the University of Manchester in 2008, and then moved to Switzerland to work as a French-English copy editor with the International Organization for Standardization. While working there, I studied part time for an MA in international relations at the Freie Universität Berlin, and took three months of leave to intern with the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations.

After graduating from my master’s, I took a job at the World Economic Forum, first as a copy editor in the Geneva headquarters, then as a commissioning editor and staff writer in the New York offices. I also led teams of writers at the Forum’s meetings in Latin America, Asia and the Middle East.

I left the Forum in 2017 to join Google, where I currently work as an editor and content strategist in the marketing department.

I’ve carried out editorial consultancy work for international organizations including UNICEF, the United Nations Global Compact, the Global Center on Adaptation, and the International Catholic Child Bureau, and have worked as a volunteer with Artisans du Monde, France’s largest fair trade organization, Housing Works Bookstore in New York City, and the CHiPS homeless shelter and soup kitchen in Brooklyn.
